DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Requirement Gathering and Analysis:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, processes, and requirements.
  • Conduct interviews, workshops, and brainstorming sessions to gather and document detailed business requirements.
  • Analyze and prioritize requirements based on business value, feasibility, and impact.

2. Documentation and Communication:

  • Create clear and comprehensive business requirement documents (BRDs), functional requirement documents (FRDs), use cases, and user stories.
  • Communicate requirements effectively to cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and testers.
  • Facilitate discussions and negotiations between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment.

3. Solution Design and Evaluation:

  • Work closely with technical teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
  • Evaluate proposed solutions against business requirements, identifying gaps and recommending enhancements.
  • Participate in solution design sessions, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements and optimizations.
  • Participate in the formulation of Project Sizing and Costing

4. Testing and Quality Assurance:

  • Collaborate with QA teams to develop test plans and test cases based on business requirements.
  • Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that delivered solutions meet business needs.
  • Identify and report defects, ensuring timely resolution and alignment with business expectations.

5. Continuous Improvement and Stakeholder Management:

  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and innovation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, fostering trust and collaboration.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to stakeholders, addressing questions, concerns, and change requests.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Adheres to the provisions of the Company's Code of Conduct and Discipline.
  2. Report any fraudulent, suspicious acts or unlawful activities/transactions immediately to the immediate head to pre-empt potential risks to the company.
  3. Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Reports to: PinaccleTech Digital Vanguard Director

Coordinates with: All employees

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, information systems, or related field.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, preferably in the IT industry.
  2. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business processes into clear and actionable requirements.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  4. Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
  5. Proficiency in requirement management tools, project management software, and documentation tools.
  6. Knowledge and work experience in Human Resources and Payroll Systems is a big plus.
